After a longer break we have decided to revive the Player of the Month section and our new victim is Milan Benda from Jesenik. This young player has managed to fulfill his dream and get into the open singles freestyle finals at Worlds in Orlando. We have interviewed him and also included some video inside.

Hi Milan, could you introduce yourself to us. When and how did u start with footbag?

Hi, my name is Milan Benda and I am 16 years old, I started with hakisak 2,5 years ago in school, when we kicked with friends during breaks. Holiday started and I couldn't kick with them, because they were too far away, so I started with tricks :) The first video I'v seen was Shred with Sunil and my eyes nearly popped out :)

Have you ever done any other sport or are you still doing one? What is so charming about footbag for you?

I used to play football, but I grew tired of being a substitute in a tiny village football team, so I killed it :) Now I do snowboarding and I don't substitue anymore :)

What I like about footbag the most is how the bag flies around your feet, how amazingly free style it is. You can do whatever you want :)

Your favorite czech and foreign player? Why?

Czech player would be Vasek and Honza (masters!!!) and foreign is undoubtedly Jorden and than David, but I don't like his behaviour :( Oh and Tom Mosher the crazy punk!

This year you attended the Worlds in USA, who impressed you from the young players and who from the oldschool pleyers? Any interesting story?

I liked USA a lot, cheap salmons and massive hamburgers :) But I liked the community the most, everyone was kind and shook hands.

Interesting story: Vasek told me how to recognize a nymphomaniac. She has big eyes and a big overlap :) or when he told me how when he was younger he traded at the stock exchange :) punk

Otherwise the best oldshooler is Peter Irish, he jumps as a ballet-dancer a it look great.

What is your favourite set and your dream-trick, that you haven't hit yet?

Muj favourite set is barraging, but I still have to drill my flipside a bit :( Biggest dream would bei nuclear gyro torque.
